Some Tips for Muslim Travellers
Hangzhou, China
-Most taxi drivers do not understand English at all, so you need be ready with the addresses of the hotel that you will stay in and the halal restaurants in the area printed in Chinese characters so that you can just point them to the taxi drivers
-Halal food is available at many muslim restaurants around the city
-Some helpful sites:

Favourite shopping spots: Silk Street, Night Market
Bangkok, Thailand
-Reasonably priced halal food can be found at MBK shopping center:

-Several middle-eastern restaurants are also available on Arab Street, but food here are a little bit pricy
-There is a comfortable "surau" at the new Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Just follow the sign!

-A lot of halal food in the Geylang area.
-If stay at Hotel 81 on Onan Road, there is a big mamak restaurant which opens 24 hours at the ground floor.
-There is a big halal foodcourt near the Muslim center with a wide selection of halal food.
